Math: Facts from Videos

Fact 1 from Video 1: People take samples of the total population to cut down the amount of information needed to gather.
Fact 2 from Video 2: There are three different sampling methods: Simple Random Sample (purely random), Systematic Random Sample (random but selected with a pattern, like every 6th person), Stratified Random Sample (random but selected within different groups)
Fact 3 from Video 3: Biased sampling methods: Convenience Sample, Voluntary Response Sample

Fact 4 from Video 4: You can't have a valid inference without a representative sample
Fact 5 from Video 5: To make samples more realistic, you can take the mean of different samples.
Fact 6 from Video 6: You can inference the outcome for a population by multiplying the sample.

  3. This is a very important point because the point of taking a sample of the whole population is so that you can find a representative sample.
