Math: Answers for Homework (Central Tendency)

Part of our math homework tonight was to answer the questions below.

Our data:

1. How alike or different are the data values from each other?
The data values are very similar. For example, they have the same mode, and their means are very close.
2. Which data values occur more frequently or less frequently?
Most frequently: 7
Least frequently: 5, 11, 12
3. How spread out or close together are the data values in relation to each other?
The range is 6.5 sizes, so I would say they are fairly spread apart.
4. How spread out or close together are the data values in relation to a measure of center?
The minimum to the median is 2.25 while the maximum to the median is 4.75, so the second half is more spread apart than the first half.

April 6th Do Now:
I think the average shoe size of seventh graders is size 7 because it's very close to all the measures of central tendency.
